Guilty verdict for suspect in Colombus Square neighborhood shooting

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A man is found guilty for  breaking into an apartment in the Colombus Square neighborhood and killing one man and shooting another in the face. It happened last august, when Rico Combs broke into the apartment armed with a pistol.

He was also found guilty of shooting at a mother who was hiding with her children in a closet and then hitting her with the gun. He left a burn mark on her face from the gun’s barrel.

Combs was found guilty of first degree murder and several other assault and burglary charges. He will be sentenced next month.
