MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI)- Every year, thousands donate to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Now, the Moolah Shriners want to give back to the St. Louis community. The Professional Firefighters of Eastern Missouri was taken over by teddy bears. The Shriners donated hundreds of stuffed toys to the first responders who can then pass the toys to children affected by fires and other disasters. Firefighters got so many teddy bears, they had to pack the toys into a fire truck. Firefighters also offered suggestions to keep kids safe from fires and burns.
