1 Billion Rising with Safe Connections

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI)- In the One Billion Rising, Safe Connections will join men and women around the world in raising awareness of domestic violence and rape.  According to Safe Connections, one in three women will experience domestic violence and sexual assault at least once in their lifetimes. That is why they hope at least a billion people around the world will hold their own flash mob dances this year.

Eden Theological Seminary will hold their flash mob on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 10 a.m.  Maryville University warmed up for their Valentine`s Day event at the FOX2 studios.
