Dave Murray’s Latest STL forecast and weather disco…THURSDAY…February 12, 2015:

*** All about cold and lots of it the next several days…windy in the morning on Thursday and more gusty winds and very cold Saturday… cold goes into next week…Signs of a snow system Monday night and Tuesday…stay tune.***

THURSDAY:

Partly sunny, breezy and very cold
WINDS: Northwest 15-25 M.P.H.
HIGH: 25 DEGREES.

THURSDAY NIGHT:

Some Clouds and very cold…lighter winds
WINDS: North 5-10 M.P.H.
LOW: 13 DEGREES

FRIDAY:

Partly sunny and cold
WINDS: Southeast to northwest 10-20 M.P.H.
HIGH: 35 DEGREES…a drop late day

Some snow flurries Friday night…windy and very cold on Saturday…lighter winds and very cold Sunday

THE WEATHER DISCO:

A series of cold fronts on the way…the first passing yesterday…the second…and stronger cold late Friday…another front over the weekend…all in the very strong and dry northwest flow. Maybe some flurries Friday night into Saturday morning…the next system will come with the northwest flow shutting down and open up into more of a zonal flow…this should spin up a system coming out of the Texas panhandle Monday and Tuesday…there will be some warmer air coming up ahead of the system…but the cold air will be heavy and deep… so signs of a snow and sleet set up…especially Monday night and into Tuesday… there are already crazy numbers getting put on this system… pure guesses… not even worth the time of day… but a system is on the table with a long way to go to watch the dynmaics play out…stay tune.
