Proposal would change the way Illinois high school coaches handle injuries

ST. LOUIS - Concussions in sports are a big concern, especially at the high school level. At present, the coaches decide whether an athlete can return to the game after a head injury. But a new bill introduced in the Illinois legislature would change that.

Gonzalo Fernandez, a partner with the St. Louis law firm Deveraux, Stokes and Fernandez, visits Fox 2 News in the Morning to discuss the legal ramifications of such a law being passed.
