ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- Criminals broke into a pick-up truck in South St. Louis early Wednesday morning, according to police.

The suspects are found a vehicle that was unlocked, but it was all captured on camera.

The crooks stole change, clothes and more from the pick-up truck.

Frank Florence said the suspects swiped his things, but his cameras recorded the theft.

“They weren’t looking to break things; instead, they were looking to steal easy targets,” Florence said. “That’s what I was.”

It happened in the 67-hundred block of Hancock.

It’s the same neighborhood criminals targeted last Feb. Police said they broke into at least four cars.

Frank installed the surveillance cameras that captured Wednesday’s car break-in a few months after the first round of car break-ins.

“I just hope they get caught,” he said.
