ST. PETERS - It's time to break ground on a new home in St. Peters and not just any home, but the sixth annual St. Louis St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway.

Fox 2’s Lisa Hart was in the Ohmes Farm-The Crossings community Thursday morning, where bulldozers are readying to launch the first stage of the building process.

Beginning June 18, you can reserve a raffle ticket to win the home. Tickets cost $100 and only 10,000 tickets will be sold. All proceeds will go directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The hospital’s unofficial motto: families never receive a bill from St. Jude, because all a family should worry about is helping their live.

The St. Jude Dream Home will be completed in time for a public tour on Saturday, July 25. The drawing takes place September 3 on Fox 2.
