Ice shuts down westbound I-70 near Wright City

WRIGHT CITY, MO (KTVI) – Westbound lanes of I-70 are shut down  near Wright City as road conditions continue to deteriorate.  Slick roads cause a vehicle to crash near at the 200 mile marker.

A photo just tweeted by the Warrenton Fire District of an accident on the westbound lanes of I-70 at the 190 mile marker. They describe I-70 as a solid sheet of ice.

MoDOT estimates that the highway should open at 10:45pm.
