ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - The winter storm is gone, but wild weather is not. After a brief break in the active weather Monday, the next storm system to impact the Bi-State arrives overnight. There is a chance of freezing rain after midnight Tuesday, especially north of St. Louis, then a chance of rain and even a thunderstorm as temperatures climb towards 50° Tuesday afternoon.
It doesn’t last long. A cold front arrives Tuesday night causing temps to plummet by Wednesday and changing our rain back to snow. Snow may accumulate across southern Missouri and Illinois.
Welcome to March!
