St. Louis author of “Mr. Unlikely” hopes book becomes movie

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- St. Louisan Stephen M. Pieper is a retired Eureka, MO fire captain. After a life in public service, Pieper has now taken pen in hand. He is out with his second book, “Mr. Unlikely,” which he hopes will become a movie.

Set in St. Louis, the plot revolves around single father who starts to receive "signs” seemingly from the universe to find a woman to fulfill the hole in his family life; striking out time and again.

The book is available on eBook at iTunes, Barnes and Noble, and Amazon for $5.99 and the paperback is available at STL Books in Kirkwood or at for $13.95

Pieper will be signing books on Thursday. March 26th, from 7am - 1pm at the St. Louis Bread Company on Kennerly Road in south St. Louis County.
