Celebrate National Nutrition Month in your fridge, not your pantry

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI)- Registered and licensed dietitian Reshaunda Thornton wants healthy eaters to think "refrigerated" and "frozen" and not "pantry." That is because bagged frozen or chilled foods tend to have less sodium, sugar and fat than processed foods that would be stored in a pantry or cabinet. She celebrated National Nutrition Month. But, we celebrated her. It is National Dietician Day.
