ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Registered and licensed dietitian Reshaunda Thornton showed us that quick meals do not mean fast food.
The owner of BetterVessel nutrition and fitness said you can enjoy your favorite fast foods, as long as you reinvent the dishes. She added that you do not have to settle for sitting in drive-thrus just to get food that is full of salt, fat or sugar. She said you can make a huge batch of soup and store them in mason jars. You can make your own snack packs with crackers and grilled, baked or steam meat or poultry. It may take a few extra minutes once a week. But, this could also save you time during the week, money and calories.
