Jets Beat Blues in Shootout, 2-1

The Winnipeg Jets knocked off the Blues 2-1 in a shootout on Thursday night in Winnipeg, Canada. The Blues led 1-0 well into the third period on a David Backes goal in the second period. Drew Stafford’s backhander tied the game a 1-1 with six and a half minutes remaining in the game. After a scoreless overtime, the Jets won the best of three shootout, 2 goals to 1.

The Blues six game road trip continues Saturday afternoon when they play the Wild in Minnesota.
