Boil order issued for Troy, IL

TROY, IL (KTVI)-The City of Troy, Illinois has issued a boil order for all residents on the city’s water system.  A 16” water main was damaged during a boring project and is in the process of being repaired.

Water should be boiled for no less than 5 minutes for drinking.

Once the water tests safely, Troy will notify residents that the order has been lifted. The city expected the order to be in place for 24 to 48 hours.
