ARNOLD, MO (KTVI) – The search is over in Jefferson County. A police K-9 is no longer missing.

A spokesperson for the Arnold Police Department contacted Fox 2 News late Wednesday night to inform the station that Rocky, an eight-year-old German Shepherd, was located not too far from his home in the Eagle Point subdivision, alive and well.

He ran away from his home around 10 p.m. Tuesday. Nearly a dozen officers spent most of the day Wednesday searching for him up and down West Rock Creek Road. Officers feared storms would scare Rocky roam deeper into the woods.
