UNIVERSITY CITY, MO (KTVI) – Water troubles forced the Tivoli Theatre to shut its doors Sunday. The University City movie theatre was scheduled to host a series of films as part of QFest. A sign on the front door tells customers the theatre is closed due to a water main breakage.
Missouri American Water says the problem is with an intake pipe at the theater. The water company shut down water to repairs can be made.
QFest organizers believe repairs will be made in time before Monday night’s films are scheduled to be shown.
