Most racist places in America, according to Google

Where are the most racist places in America? According to the Washington Post, a new study published in PLOS ONE suggests the rural Northeast and South.

The post says PLUS ONE used Google search data,  in order to measure the incidence of racist attitudes. The study’s methodology comes from Data Scientist, Seth Stephens-Davidowitz.

In the past, Stephens-Davidowitz measured the effect of racist attitudes on Barack Obama’s electoral prospects in a post titled, How Racist Are We?, Ask Google.
