TRENTON, Mo. (AP) _ A northwest Missouri house fire has claimed four lives while five other people inside the residence managed to escape.

The Trenton Police Department says the blaze in the second story of a Trenton home was reported just before 1 a.m. Saturday.

KCTV-TV (http://bit.ly/1c7qOsY ) reports all four victims were children, including three siblings, according to their grandmother.

A spokesman for the state fire marshal’s office says there is no indication of foul play.

Media questions were referred to a lieutenant with the Trenton Fire Department, but he didn’t immediately return a call Saturday seeking additional details.

Trenton is about 90 minutes northeast of Kansas City.
