Glen Carbon students attempt a world’s record for paper airplane

GLEN CARBON, IL (KTVI) – Tuesday students from the Albert Cassens Elementary School in Glen Carbon attempted to set a world record for a paper airplane launched from a hot air balloon. The airplane dropped was designed by students at the school, who tested various designs before the drop.

The paper airplane was launched from a height of 100,000 feet from a balloon.
