ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI) - A south county homeowner received quite a scare when he returned home from lunch Tuesday afternoon and caught a thief red handed. The homeowner didn't hesitate to call 911. When St. Louis County Police arrived they found a man with a broken arm hiding behind a house, and his pickup parked in a neighbor's driveway on Timothy Lane at Tesson Ferry Road filled with power tools stolen from the homeowner's detached garage. The alleged thief took off running across the street and around a neighbor's house where he was captured by police and taken into custody.
