Skate party at Skate King to help St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Skaters take the rink at Skate King to help the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Kids with catastrophic illnesses that do not respond to traditional treatments can find clinical trials at St. Jude. If the family's insurance does not cover expenses for kids accepted into the hospital, St. Jude covers the expenses.

Many kids with Sickle-Cell Disease can find help at St. Jude. Sickle-Cell is a genetic blood disorder that causes severe pain and chronic infections and organ damage. But with the research from hospitals like St. Jude, kids can grow to live full lives as adults.
