HAMTRAMCK, MI-A driver in suburban Detroit is using her green thumb to call attention to a pothole problem. Paige Breithart wanted to draw attention to the fact that potholes in her neighborhood were out of control.

After the holes ruined her tires, she came up with a creative way to complain about it. She turned the potholes into flower beds.

Breihart thought the colorful flowers would warn drivers and get the city's attention.

The plan worked. Once the flowers popped up, crews showed up to make repairs.
