ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – A hospital worker is scared for her life after a ex-boyfriend allegedly attacked her at work and shot at her car.

The victim says she`s fearing for her life and wants the man who she says shot at her behind bars.

According to the 22-year-old victim she was leaving work from Barnes Jewish Hospital at 7 am Wednesday morning when she says her ex-boyfriend approached and grabbed her. Security caught up with the man and the woman, and she was able to leave with her new boyfriend. Minutes later she says he chased the couple in his car down Kingshighway firing a shot at Lindell.

The former boyfriend then followed her five miles to her home where she called police. She says her ex stood outside of her home with a weapon, fleeing before police arrived. She wants to make sure he never comes back. She also says this behavior is new and the two haven't dated for over a year.

Multiple family members filed restraining orders with St. Louis city police who confirm the 23-year-old man is wanted for questioning. They would not release his name or picture because he has not been arrested or charged.
