ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – The remains of an Air Force Technical Sergeant from the Vietnam War arrived in St. Louis Wednesday. Air Force Master Tech Sergeant Louis Clever and nine others were shot down over Laos in 1969.

The mission was secret and the men were all listed as missing in action.

Three years ago Clever’s son and daughter-in-law went to Laos and found the crash site and remains. DNA identified among those remains was Clever’s father.

His remains arrived at Lambert airport this afternoon for burial on Friday at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
