WINCHESTER, TN - A veteran skydiver is out of the hospital after taking a hard fall Saturday (5/23). John Pitts was skydiving at the "red, white, and you" show in Winchester, Tennessee as he was approaching the ground, his parachute got tangled in power lines, and he fell.

The incident caught on camera. Spectators horrified as they watched it all unfold.

MOS1 says: "Immediately, everybody around us started praying -- got in groups and started praying for the man who fell.  It was very scary, but I was encouraged by all the people praying around us."

MOS2 says: "I hope he lives through it.  We feel sorry for him and his family.  We want to give this to him to say we're all thinking of him."

More than three thousand people, including hundreds of veterans attending the event Saturday.

Donations will go to area vets organizations.
