JENNINGS, MO (KTVI) – A 6-year-old girl who was one of three people killed in a house fire was remembered in Jennings Wednesday on what would have been a very special day for her. Six-year-old Kaliyah Dunger would have graduated from kindergarten today at Fairview Elementary School in Jennings.

She along with her 4-year-old brother and 78-year-old great-grandmother were all killed in a University City house fire in February.

Kaliyah`s family was honored with the certificate that Kaliyah would have received.

The school district yearbook was dedicated to Kaliyah and a tree was planted outside Fairview Elementary in Kaliyah`s honor.

Balloons were also released and the kids blew bubbles.
