Turkey and cheese lunch packages recalled for misbranding and undeclared allergen

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service Saturday announced the recall of 18,000 pounds of Anytime Food Turkey and Cheese Lunch Kits from Total Packaging of KY, Inc. of Owensboro, Kentucky. The product is being recalled because of misbranding and the non-declared allergen of eggs not declared on the product label.

The turkey and cheese lunch kits were produced on May 4, 5, 12 and 18. The four compartment plastic tray is labeled as “Anytime Foods Turkey & Cheese Lunch Kit’.

The product in question has the establishment number of “P6734A” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
