LINCOLN CO, MO (KTVI) – Four Lincoln County neighbors are facing charges for robbing a neighbor of drugs and other items in Elsberry Missouri. Investigators say Terrel Mathis and three others came up with a scheme to use a BB gun, a flashlight, a bicycle and a 16-year-old juvenile to perform the robbery.

Mathis attached the flashlight to the BB rifle in order to scare the victim and hit her with the gun.

The juvenile was used to distract the victim while the others rode up on a bicycle.

Mathis is charged with felony assault and armed criminal action and is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $100,000.00 cash only bond with no contact with the victim.

Dryden, Steele and Powell are charged with robbery in the first degree and felony stealing and are currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $75,000 cash only bond each, with no contact with the victims.

The juvenile was remanded over to juvenile authorities for prosecution.
