ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- The students of JazzU are offering a glimpse into the future of the Jazz St. Louis 2015-2016 season. Subscriptions are on-sale now and help fund lectures and classes for young music lovers. Even though the new season has yet to start, there are several performances scheduled for the month of June.
One event comes with a sweet treat. Jazz St. Louis will honor the Salvation Army volunteers of The Great Depression and the soldiers of World War I with a Donut Day bash. Fifteen bakeries will feature donuts.
There will be a taste-test competition. Oberweis Home Delivery will drop off milk while Mississippi Mud Roaster bring the coffee.
The students of JazzU have the soundtrack for a tasty Friday morning.
