ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) –  Hold onto your wallets. Many insurers want big premium hikes on Obamacare policies in 2016.

Insurers say enrollees are going to the doctor, getting lab work done, and filling prescriptions much more than they had originally anticipated.

Many insurers are asking for hikes of 10 percent or more. That could mean double-digit premium increases for individual policies, with some companies looking to boost rates more than 60 percent.
