Foul play suspected after Sunset Hills woman goes missing

SUNSET HILLS, MO (KTVI)- The St. Louis County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who went missing from Sunset Hills. Authorities say Linda McLaughlin, 57 years of age, of the 9100 block of Meadowglen Lane, was last seen Monday night around 7p.m. They believe foul play may be involved.

Crimes Against Persons Detectives have been checking locations where McLaughlin has known to frequent.

Her vehicles is described as a 2008 brown Buick Enclave with Missouri State license plate KA9-L4R. McLaughlin's family has advised detectives that this is completely out of the ordinary.

Linda McLaughlin is the owner of the McLaughlin Hoist and Crane company.  Her soon to be ex-husband John McLaughlin is the General Manager.

McLaughlin and her husband John were due in court on Thursday for a divorce settlement conference.  They have a meeting scheduled with Judge John Essner at 8:15am.  Another meeting was scheduled for Monday.

This is an active and ongoing investigation.
