Rams player released due to medical condition

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - One Rams player's career is over before it even began.

Bud Sasser the rookie wide receiver and Mizzou star was released from the team due to his heart condition. This condition is a non-football related injury known as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Dr. Michael Lim, a cardiologist at SLU Hospital, joins us in studio to speak more about the danger of playing football with this medical condition.
