ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The court appearance started cordial enough. Thomas Crum is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, over a fight with a city bus driver on Friday.

Crum became upset after the driver told him he had to get off the bus... Because his passes were expired.

The video shows Crum threatening the driver a number of times, even trying to *take over the bus... Before punching the driver in the face, and knocking him out cold.

Albuquerque police arrested Crum a couple blocks away.

But less than a day later, he's causing trouble *again... This time, with metro court judge Daniel Ramczyk.

Crum has a lengthy criminal history so the judge set his bond at 10-thousand dollars cash or surety.

That's when Crum, started mouthing off.

Guards haul Crum back in front of the judge, who slapped him with a contempt of court charge.
