Researchers say Americans are eating healthier

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – There’s new evidence Americans might finally be eating healthier! But, there’s still a long way to go according to researchers at the Hudson Institute. They examined shifts in supermarket sales between 2009-2013.

By studying data from over 200 food and beverage categories they found lower-calorie foods had a 59 percent supermarket growth. Children are still not eating as healthy as we would like.
