ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Barrett Jackman's days of wearing the note are over. St. Louis Post- Dispatch reporter Jeremy Rutherford says the Blues have notified the 34-year-old defenseman that "they will be going in a different direction" and will not be re-signing him.
Jackman has been with the Blues since breaking into the league in 2002. He has played in the second most games in team history trailing only Bernie Federko.
Jackman will be an unrestricted free agent who is able to sign with any team.
