Circle K robbed in Fairview Heights

FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, IL (KTVI) – The Fairview Heights Police Department is investigating an armed robbery of a Circle K gas station that occurred Saturday morning at 2:30 am. Police say a male suspect entered the store brandishing a handgun, forcing the store clerk to open the cash register and to give him cigarettes.

The clerk complied and the gunman fled the scene.

Police describe the suspect as being medium height, slim build, in his 20’s, and last seen wearing striped beanie with a ski mask, white shirt over black shirt, black shorts and black tennis shores.

No one was hurt in the robbery.
