Florissant Walmart hiring 300 workers for summer grand opening

FLORISSANT, MO (KTVI) – A new Walmart will open this summer in Florissant, MO. They are looking to hire about 300 full and part-time workers. Many of the new workers will begin work soon to help prepare for the grand opening.

Walmart is offering jobs to any eligible U.S. veteran honorably discharged from active duty. This is part of the company’s Veterans Welcome Home Commitment.

A release from Walmart states:

Walmart provides a benefits program to eligible full- and part-time associates. For example, it provides a variety of affordable health and well-being benefits including health-care coverage with no lifetime maximum. Walmart also offers eligible associates matching 401(k) contributions of up to 6 percent of pay, discounts on general merchandise, an Associate Stock Purchase Program and company-paid life insurance. Additionally, eligible associates receive a quarterly incentive based on store performance.

Applications will be accepted from 8am-5pm. A temporary hiring center has opened at 2770 N. Highway 67. Job seekers may also apply online.
