MoDOT: Several roadways in area remain closed due to flooding

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – After a long week of heavy rainfall, the weekend looks more promising for dryer weather. But drivers in the St. Louis region should know that some roadways will remain closed because of flooding, the Missouri Department of Transportation said Friday.

According to Shaunda White, a MoDOT spokeswoman, Route H (Riverview Drive) in north St. Louis City is closed between the Chain of Rocks Bridge and Scranton Avenue.

Other road closures in surrounding counties include:

St. Charles County
Route 67 from Clark Bridge to Route 94 (two-way traffic)
Route 94 at Terry Road
Route 94 from Old Orchard to Harbor Point
Route H
Route B
Route C

Jefferson County
Route 61/67 at Joachim Creek
Route AA

Lincoln County
Route 61 at the Cuivre River Bridge
Route 79 at Old Monroe
Route 79 at Winfield

Pike County
Route 79 south of Clarksville

Motorists will have to seek alternate routes in the meantime.
