ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Like many dogs who are lost or abandoned, Jon Jon, an American Cocker Spaniel, was given a second chance at life through the support of a local animal shelter. “Who’s That Doggy?” is a new book by St. Louis authors Mike Meehan and Alissa Murphy and tells the story of how Jon Jon’s adoption transformed all of their lives for the better.

The 44-page book combines photos and illustrations to tell Jon Jon’s story from his perspective. Author Alissa Murphy adopted Jon Jon from the Humane Society of Missouri in 2009.

“Who’s That Doggy?” sells for $14.99 and can be purchased online on Amazon and is also available at the Looking Glass of Lafayette Square. A portion of the proceeds from sales of the book go to animal rescue and care organizations in the St. Louis region.
