ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - She's been the face of fighting crime for decades in St. Louis. Jennifer Joyce, the city’s longest serving circuit attorney, said she will not run for re-election in 2016.

In a one-on-one interview with Fox 2’s Rafer Weigel, Joyce said she wants to spend more time with her family.

And now that she’s not running for re-election, Joyce believes that frees her to be even more candid on an issue she’s already quite outspoken about: gun violence.

As for future plans, Joyce said she and her husband will hop into an RV next year and literally ride off into the sunset.
