ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Rain is slowly making its exit across the bi-state early on this Thursday. Drier time takes over by midday, although clouds will be slow to leave.

Look for mostly cloudy sky throughout the afternoon with unseasonably cool temps nearing 80º. Scattered rain is still expected across southern Missouri/Illinois over the next couple of days thanks to a stalled front, but most of the St. Louis area sees dry time.

An isolated shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out later in the day through the weekend as this feature remains close by. Highs are on a climbing trend through the weekend into the 80s with a mix of sun and clouds returning.
