Four wounded in overnight shootings

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Four people were wounded in overnight shootings Friday night and early Saturday. Around 10:19pm, a 17-year-old male was shot in the knee by an unknown suspect in the 4300 block of Kossuth in north St. Louis. The victim was taken to the hospital where he was listed as stable.

Just a half hour later, around 10:40pm, a 21-year old man was shot in the 3500 block of Natural Bridge in north St. Louis. The victim told St. Louis police he was walking east on Natural Bridge from Grand when he heard fireworks going off, and then felt pain. The victim went to a friend’s house and then taken to the hospital. He had been shot in the upper back. He was treated and released.

Around 10:54am, a 37-year-old woman was shot while sitting on a front porch in the 3400 block of Montana in south St. Louis.  She saw two men walking down the street and recognized one of them. That man then fired gunshots. The woman was shot in the face underneath her nose. She was transported to the hospital where she was listed as critical/stable. Police are looking for a black male, 30-40 years old, 6 feet tall, with a slim build.

Then early Saturday, around 4:15am, a 26-year-old man was shot in the 5100 block of Cabanne in north St. Louis. The victim told police he was walking in the alley with friends, when he heard gunshots. As the victim ran from the alley, he felt pain to his head. He was taken to the hospital by his friends. He had suffered a graze wound to his head and was listed as stable.

Police continue to investigate all incidents.
