ST. LOUIS, MO(KTVI)- Fair St. Louis is a lot of fun and that means thousands of people will be in attendance. To ensure everyone’s safety, St. Louis police officers and firefighters will be highly visible inside the park.

But they might not all be as visible as you’d expect. Take a look at this photo tweeted by the Fire Department’s Public Information Officer.

Yes, this is some of the department’s marine crew gear stashed and ready to go in case of an emergency. The St. Louis Fire Department’s Homeland Security Officer, Gregg Favre, retweeted the post and explained that department rescue swimmers and divers patrol the lakes in Forest Park during Fair St. Louis to protect spectators and entertainers.
