$70 million winning Powerball ticket sold in south city

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – A gas station in south St. Louis sold the winning $70 million Powerball ticket from the July 4 drawing, the Missouri Lottery said Wednesday.

The Gas Mart at the intersection of Hampton and Loughborough avenues sold the winning ticket. The store will receive a $50,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

No one has come forward to claim the prize.  The winner has until December 31 to claim the jackpot.

This is ninth biggest jackpot won in Missouri.

The winning numbers were: 3-6-14-18-24, with the Powerball 21, and Power Play 3.
