ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Taylor Swift donated $50,000 to an 11-year-old fan with leukemia who uses “Bad Blood” as her fight song.
Swift donated the money on Naomi Oakes’ GoFundMe page after watching a YouTube video that shared Oakes’ story.
According to the video, Oakes is really upset that she won’t be able to leave the hospital to enjoy her Christmas present: the Taylor Swift concert on August 18.
The family posted the video on July 5 in hopes to have Swift share a #TEAMNAOMI  post on Instagram to “get rid of the bad blood.”
On July 7, Swift donated the money with the sentiment:
“To the beautiful and brave Naomi, I’m sorry you have to miss it, but there will always be more concerts. Let’s focus on getting you feeling better. I’m sending the biggest hugs to you and your family.”
