3 injured in alleged street racing accident on Broadway

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Authorities are investigating after three people were injured during an early morning accident in north St. Louis. The single car crash happened around 1a.m. near the intersection of Broadway and Branch. An older model Chevrolet Impala apparently rammed into a fire hydrant. The victims were transported to the hospital for treatment.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation.

The area, east Interstate 70, is well known for street racing.
