Police trying to identify body found in burned Waterloo farmhouse

WATERLOO, IL (KTVI) – Police are trying to identify a body found in a burned out farmhouse.

The 100 year old home on Monroe street caught on fire Wednesday morning. Crews found the body inside but it could not be identified. The remains were taken to a belleville hospital for x-rays and an autopsy.
