ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Restaurants are firing up the kitchens for Alton All-Star Restaurant Week.
Between July 10th and 19th, Metro-East eateries will put their best dishes forward for a week of fixed-price dining. Lunch at participating restaurants will go for $10 and dinner will be $25. There are no passes or punch cards to buy. You can try to make the Pasta Con Broccoli from Bluff City Grill, or let the chefs make it instead.

Pasta Con Broccoli
2 oz Butter
1/2 cup Mushrooms (fresh)
1/2 Tsp Minced Garlic
1 Cup Broccoli (blanched)
2 oz Marinara
8 oz Heavy Cream
6 oz Bow Tie Noodles (3/4 Cooked)
2 tbls Diced Red Peppers (for garnish)
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
To Taste: Salt and Pepper
Add Butter, Mushrooms, Garlic and Broccoli to Pan over Medium High Heat.
Sautée for about a Minute.
Add Marinara, Heavy Cream and Bow Tie Noodles.
Bring to a Boil and let Reduce. Remove from Heat.
Top with Parmesan Cheese and Garnish with Diced Red Pepper.
