ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - With 10 million new cases, accounting for more than 35 percent of all pediatrician visits, Otitis Media (an ear infection) is the most common illness affecting babies and young children.

Almost half of all children will have an ear infection by the time they are one year old.

Ear 'tube' surgery has to be repeated in 20-30% of children who receive them.

In a recent study conducted by the American Chiropractic Association, 80% of children who were treated with chiropractic care were ear infection free for at least 6 months after care.

Dr. Alex Vidan with Vidan Family Chiropractic joins Fox 2 to explain how natural, chiropractic ear care increases ear drainage in children and improves antibodies and recovery time.
