ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - On July 13, St. Louis' 22nd Ward Alderman Jeffrey Boyd learned that the city’s latest murder victim was his 23-year-old nephew Rashad Farmer; the son of his wife`s sister.

This was in the Wells Goodfellow neighborhood.

Alderman Boyd's emotional response reflects what many people feel these days.
